Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

Well glade to see you got it working, for my part I used the CD to get it running on a different comp (One with a lot lower specs {starts crying uncontrollably}). Though now I have a different problem impulse doesn’t think that I have Sins!!! (though kryo is trying to helping me to fix it) So i still can't get on to my laptop

I am new to modding but I was trying to mix match a few mods for my own use and I was wondering what files I need to have for the Black Hole. I have tried to move the files necessary to use the black hole over to my mod but whenever I try to play a map containing a Black Hole an error message appears. I assume that it is because I missed a file somewhere, but I cant find which one it might be. Could you please inform me as to what I am doing wrong or what files I need? Thanks,

You'll need to update the string file to include the path to the black hole!

With the galaxy forge mod i have sggestions for different types of stars like dwarfs and supergiants, and including standard white star. The reason I need this becaus I am making an epic map of a sf book series called The Saga of Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson and those stars would make it easier to do trinary and binary star systems other wise I am nearing completion. I has at least 25 different star systems and over 200 different planets.

There are about 15 files that the Blach Hole uses, plus the GalaxyScenarioDef file and the English String file need to be modified. Also, what do you plan to use this for? And if you do use it, make sure to credit myself and FourAces for the creation of the Black Hole.

The current version of 1.3d and my Solar Sins mod both have a White Star as a normal star option. Also, with the Rogue Stars, you can have dozens of stars per system.
Later down the road, I will introduce multiple star sizes too, but this is a little ways off.

Beta D has some problems that I am tryign to work out. As soon as they are fixed, I will let you all know, but for now I am tearing my hair out.
Also, for those of you who have models you want to put into the game, send me a PM so we can chat. I'll be glad to help, and even use your models.
Since my computer freezes every time I go to the new forum, (from ALL possible links), I hope it's all right to post my comments here.
First off, every single time I build an arilou ship, or an AI does, I get a mini-dump.
Secondly, I get a mini-dump every time I play a map with more than 40 planets. I have a brand new computer with all of the best hardware that Dell would let my dad use.(My dad works on CPU's for a living, ever since he joined the Navy many years ago)
Also, the Kor-ah aren't the best looking craft, but it isn't that much of a problem.
For the good things, THE ATLANTIANS ARE AMAZING!!! (same for the TCA and the Empire) The main menu music is good, and the Atlantian buildings are neat to look at. Actually, all the music is much better than in the vanilla sins. I also like how ya'll added weapons to the atlantian structures.
One question: It isn't all that important, but if amyone on the team would like to make a mini mod for this where everything is a little cheaper? It's hard to enjoy the game when I've only got 1-2 hours a day to play.
EDIT:I am a little slow, and I just noticed that "day" and "play" rhyme. Guess I learned something new today.
Since I got this mod, every time i enable it under mods in SoaSE options menu it immediately freezes up and the microsoft tells me it crashed for some unknown reason (like Microslop always does). So I did use the 7zip as it says to do and downloaded the mod file and sent it to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods\7 DEADLY SINS 1.3d as SoaSE says to mods at under the option menu. So what is wrong?
Thanks! That helps, I forgot to change the string file. It is still not working quite yet but it is at least loading past half way. As for what I am using it for, I was working on a map using the old Sins Plus mod when I loaded The 7 Deadly Sins Mod and started playing with that. I noticed the black hole and fell in love with it. So I wanted to put it in the map I made for the Sins Plus mod but without changing the gamplay that I already worked out for that map. So I was just trying to move the black hole files over. I do not plan on distributing this Mixed mod but if I do give it to anyone, I will definitely give you and Four Aces the credit. Thanks for the Awesome mod!
What is your sins version ? These mod work with the last 1.05 version... previous version don't work and the last beta version of sins ( 1.09b i think ) don't work...
The more secure way for use the mod... go to the mod option, choose 7DS, enable it, select "load at startup", exit sins, restart it, and the mod will be enable from the start and stable...
A limited version of 7DS exist, without new race and without modification of the gameplay but with :
All races and gameplay same as "vanilla", as this is just a graphical and planatary body mod.

Either everybody is still stuck on playing the new beta or they're all using the new web-site, because this post has become strangely quiet. Its a little scary.
Maybe just an idea for a future 7ds, (probably 5.0 or something) I think that you should also add other fractions from star wars, like the republic (which is basically the Empire) and the Sepratists? Just an idea.
As soon as EvilleJedi gets them in the Star Wars mod, we will take them and add them in. We wouldn't be able to call ourselves the "Borg of Sins mods" otherwise.
