Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

dude all races should be selectable in the normal way. why they aren't i can't guess.
have you just pasted all the files into the mod folder, or are they in a "7DS Folder" in the mod folder, because i did that when i first started

Hey Danman i was wonderin bout the setup of how things r researched in sins... u can only research one thing at a time... even if they r of different categories, which i feel is kind of lame coz v got to create military labs and harmony labs..
The game wud go much faster and b more betr if u cud research 2 things at a time if they r from different categories....

Hmmm... The Zerg sound like an interesting race... as you say, lots of cheap ships... but tons of them... haha.. that would be a bit daunting yes?

I don't know which race DanMan or his team is using for one of the scenarios, but i ran into a race, the rogues? that were dominating the heck out of my fleet, I lost half my fleet and all of my capitals to them. I went backoff off planet and made a little colony ship with domination ability and spammed it about 50 times... It was way cheating, but I had to do something to survive. I went back up planet and recaptured all my fleet and half of their's. The other half was wiped out in the ensuing firefight. it was hectic and difficult but fun, and certainly unexpected. I thought it was way cool, certainly different than just standing and shooting like so many other battles before it.

Glad you liked your fight against the Rogues, and you eventually beating them. The Rogues and the new pirates add a whole new element to the game, where any of your frigates or structures can be "siezed" by the pirates or Rogues, and then used against you. Using your own computer control (through research and the LRM frigate) is the perfect counter, or can be used as an offensive weapon of your own.
Game mechanics like this will be changing slightly in 2.0, but capturing things will still be in there. There may even in the future to capture capital ships, and dare I say.....Planets!
makbar59, you can research one weapon and one civilian tech at the same time in vanilla Sins if you updated to version 1.05.
And a readme is coming people for 2.0. It will be a complete rehash of the current instruction book by Ironclad, with all the elements of 7 DEADLY SINS, my universe, put in for your understanding. All races will have complete bios and history too, as well as screen shots of stars, planets, ships, etc. I hope you will all enjoy!
Alos, just an FYI, I will be making myself scarce for this week. I have finals and final projects all due this week, and school and RL is more important. Hey! I've also been playing games with 7DS and just to say ! IT'S AWESOME-NESS!!!! Like to the 100th degree.
Nevertheless I do have 2 questions that popped up during various gameplays.
1) How do I distinguish Titan ships form regular capital ships and what do they offer of extra (If I take the example of the Rogues Jolly Roger, It's worth the regular 50 supply points and delivers quite a punch (and awesome effects...Missiles FTW) but right beside it is the WarHammer worth 150 supply which is only exactly twice as strong for three times the price)! So like I said could someone please tell me how to tell cap and titans apart please!
2) You mention 11 races in 7DS... I downloaded your latest version and unfortunately...I get only 7 races total...so is it me doing somehting wrong or are the missing races to be added later?

How do you even GET the Titan classes? I can't see anything for them in the research, or at the capital ship factory. In fact, that's mainly why I asked for a write-up on the last page
Dude.. there is no Titan class research.. its just there.. in some races.... Titan is basically a stronger capital ship it was some abilities tht may put it much more ahead of the rest of the capitalships... though it is more practical to hav more capitalships than a titan, Titans r the ones u can take alot of damage, so havin one in ur main fleet.. is a good thing..
Especially in AI if u send ur titan ahead of the rest of the fleet it can attract the aim of the rest of the enemy.. so it take brunt of their attact while the othrs can come in and support, a capital ship can do this too but only against a small fleet... U just hav to find the right combination or ur fleet and decide if u want a couple of titans or not...

Speaking of atlantians, why do I get the impression everyone finds them overpowered? I mostly play the TEC and have little difficulties bringing them down...? someone please enlighten me! Thanks
I like the different size planets. Is it possible to get them really huge? I mean like the size of stars? It would also be nice if the ships were larger. Its silly, but it seems more epic when the planets and ships seem larger than life. Do you know if this can be changed in the zoom to size? or do we need the devs to change the actual models themselves?
Just a few questions, but love the mod, the colors and the derelict ships, it is very very nice.

Yes, it is not only possible, it is something I am working on. I know Mansh00ter is working on this as well. I feel planets in general are not really to scale. I hope to change that.
Mansh00ter, always a pleasure to have you here in this thread. I can't wait to try out your new explosions, but after the school stuff is done. I will check out that "little helper", but I think using 3D MAX will be better, but this will be a great tool fro those who do not have nor know how to operate the 3D programs.

How do you pick the atlantions? All I can pick is the regular races when I have the mod on.
you didnt set up the mod right, theres still a mod folder that you have to extract from the main folder. you will know when you have the mod on
