Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

Greetings All!
Wow it has been awhile again since I have been here. Yes, we are having issues without server right now. Someone took the liberty of trying to hack our server to launch an attack on other servers, so we had to shut that part of it down. Our server is just like Rapid Share or those others, where you can pay for faster speed, but regular is free. This hopefully encourages people to donate to the cause, as I and other modders have bills to pay, and this stuff is not cheap to make. The software involved alone costs thousands.
Anyways, yes there will be vanilla Sins version later on, after we get the Entrenchment version done and factor in Diplomacy once all the bugs have been worked out by IC. Since Diplomacy as been so buggy, that is why I and many other modders have not moved on to it.
We will be in Alpha stages for perhaps another month, but you can always sign up to playtest. That is free, and all we ask is that you actually participate, and not just free load the mod. The more people who contribute, even if it is just opinion, the better.
Plus, DMG now incorporates many other mods and mod teams, just as the Stargate Invasion team, the Sacrifice of Angels 2 team, the Sins of the Prophets, Babylon 5, and the Sins of the 13th Tribe. Not to mention the other games we are now modding too, and the Flash games that we are now developing. So we are busy little bees over at DMG. And any and all are welcome to come and join us over there, and take part in what is happening.
Good things are on the horizon. I just introduced a new ship for the TCA, known as Ghost. It is a combo carrier / LRM cruiser, that can cloak and grant HEAVY status to its strike craft, of which it carries four squads, and its missiles pack a nice punch, and have good range too. It can also take a bit of a beating, boasting at least 3 armor points.
The Kzer-Za are slowly turning into the Hierarchy, as I am adding in other ships from their Empire in the Star Control Universe. Two Sa-Matra's are now in play as well, which can tear Atlantian ships apart and eat them for breakfast, let alone any other ship that gets in their way. True ultimate weapons of destruction.
The Arilou have a new and better way of spawning ships, one that does not cause the ships to expire, and also bog down the game engine. They still all spawn from the mother ship or Okun.
The Rogue are getting some new stuff their way too. I have redone the Pirate base, and made it into a planet now. They can build the old base as their Starbase, and now also so can the Rogue. The Rogue also now have the ability that once the CREW DERLICT SHIP research has been done, they can now BUILD these old designs in their frigate factories, which will spawn quick, cheap, yet powerful ships. They have no abilities, but in the end are the best bang for the buck since they have capital ship stats. The only thing that comes close to this are the Atlantians and the Empire.
There is much more being worked on, this is just the cream on the top of the cake. Come playtest with us and see what is really going on.
it looks great, but I'm not sure I have a good download. I found it I think on filefront, but I can't remember but when I enable it, i get a error bleep and the game crashes. So do you want us to pay the $3 donation for your site to download? Its not really a big deal since its only $3 and its such an extensive mod.
You really don't want to download the mod, not at this state you don't. Especially since the latest publicly released version only works on 1.05 vanilla Sins (yes, not Entrenchment, and several patches ago).

Alpha testing... but you need to sign up on the danmangames forum and request playtester status
Playtester on the DMG forum is directly granted... but become and remain playtester for the 7DS mod is a other story... only these who really test and make test report remain playtester for 7DS... Playtester is a job in itself, like the job of modeler, coder, etc... playtester help to find bugs... a important task in itself who help the mod to build a possible public release...

Any word on a release? I have a 2.5 on my computer from several months back. I played it long enough to report a crash every other game, and then I stopped until now, when I found that for some reason all the ship models are gone. 0_0
Now I'm wondering if I can't get the updated version unless I buy something, and if I donate somewhere, if it will let me get a version working correctly.
Register on DMG forum, ask for tester status, and you can download the 7DS mod via sync or FileFront
Why wasn't it mentioned here that ver 2.5 was made public? (or so it is said here) Or was there another thread for that and I missed it?
And where are we supposed to post suggestions/bugs found in v2.5 so people from DMG will read them?
For example, the main menu is messed up (I'm using Trinity if that's relevant), The "quit game" buttom is in the same location as it was in SINS 1.05, but they put in new "select chapter" buttons at some point, which now overlap with the "quit game" one and can't be pressed. (I'm running the 2.5 version from the thread I link to at the top of this post, which might be seriously outdated)
And why did you remove the Advent and Vasari (or left the TEC in)?
We removed the Advent and the Vasari because they were getting destroyed by everything else. The TEC was redone and made into an economical beast, so we added them back in.
As for bug reports, you can always post them on our forums.

Yo how do I get the rogue to capture other ships? I got the upgrade and they still wont capture it? plz help
Can somebody please help me out here. i Just bought sins and entrenchment the other day, and i want to use this mod. however, the alpha release is only compatible with 1.16 SINS / 1.02 ENT. it seems that Impulse only lets me update to the most recent patch, which makes it incompatible. *headdesk*
How can I get the older patch? or am i just screwed now?

The alpha release at their forums for playtesters should be for the newest version of entrenchment.

Maybe you don't like 7DS and it is your right... but don't forget that Danmangame is the working place of several other mods like the Halo mod, the B5 mod, the BSG mod, etc ... along with textures mod for "Dragon age origins" and other games...
