Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

I have to address a few things in the sort time I have.
YES, many more races are coming, and yes they will all be balanced out in one way or another. 7DS is all about variety, and each race has its own unique playing style, with strengths and weaknesses, and usually you have to master a race in order to not get run over by the other races. Even the Atlantians, my personal project and favorite race, gets run over by other races if they are not careful.
But, the real reason for this post is I have an announcement:

NOTE - this is in NO WAY complete, and actually very broken, and is missing about 75% of what 2.1 had. Danman, awesome job so far. While waiting for the DL to finish, i was crossing my fingers hoping the TCA would make it in this alpha release. But hey, maybe next time. How is the TCA race comin along?

Danman and/or Thoumsin, ive been looking through the alpha files and noticed all the textures from 2.1 are present. now are they entrenchment ready or are they there for conversion purposes still. And also if needed, i have entrenchment ready mesh's and textures of the Beta Kol and Beta Marza of the TCA. Near 100% positive they're good to go. Let me know if u guys still need em.

hey danman in case you didn't know you have some kind of bug when firing the supernova cuz it minidumps. it's going great though i love it so far. when do you think you'll do another release of it?

Hey everyone,
If you don't know who I am (And I don't know if I even know who I am sometimes LOL) I work with Danman, I am working on addings lots of new features to the danmangames.com website and also writing lots of music for 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 and beyond.
I just wanted to let you all know that Danman and everyone else is working very hard to get this out there as soon as possible, but it really is a LOT of work but I am positive you will all love the results if you liked 2.1
Also, as with the Ask Danman column, the danmangames website will be hosting a similar area which I will be running on how to create music for sins (And any other game), i'll be walking you through the basics using fl studio 8 (As you can download a free demo of it AND it's my program of choice and i've used them all at one time or another, from C-Lab to Cubase, Sonar, Pro-Tools etc .....) right through the eq-ing, mixing and mastering so if you are interested in writing your own game music I hope to have this on the danmangames website within the next few weeks as our philosophy is to give back to the community and make gaming as much fun as possible.

Oxegenet, can you use Audacity to edit sins music?
Hi there,
When you say edit, do you mean convert once created? I write the music from scratch (All original) and that's what I will be showing how to do, and I will be showing how to do every step in FL Studio. However if you'd be interested I could also show how to do some basic editing in audacity also in the tutorials? (I usually use Wavelab myself if I need an external editor, but Audacity also now comes with Beta 4 of FL Studio 8.5 so i'm sure it will also be included with the full release of version 9 in a few months).
I'm not one of those that enjoy cutting up music that's already written, but I understand why some people find that the way they'd like to go too, it's all down to preference I just prefer to have full control from the ground up the style of the track. For example, there a quite a few different styles i've written (And already sent to Danman) and some which won't make it into the game as they more club orientated but which could be ideal for youtube trailers.
OK, haven't tested the alpha yet, but I was a little disppointed in the lack of non-vanilla races....

I would have thought 1 more should equal the vanilla races?
There is also "No string found" error on a couple of options (Quick Start option for example).
The string error is known about and is why this is an Alpha
There are MANY more races than the vanilla Sins that will be included, this is a test to make sure the basic system works in Entrenchment, a BETA release is aimed at the general public usually, an ALPHA is aimed that those that have time to do bug reports, give ideas etc ......
Also the vanilla races WILL still be there, they have just been modified and morphed into stronger ones to make them much more powerful, as currently if you just put in the vanilla races they would be VASTLY underpowered compared to the new ones and would be like shooting ducks who have been glued to the ground hehe.

dresda the 2.2 is for sins 1.05, the entrenchment version is at early alpha

Hmmm.... I transferred the 7DS folder to Entrenchment Mods. Loaded up Entr, enabled the mod but I'm only getting TEC, Advent and Vasari. I might wait for the update.
Yes I do relise it's an alpha, but again, and I did not know about that error so there for perhaps write up a list of known bugs?
And again, isn't this also partly why you asking us to test this release before final ????
And the reason I ask for another race, as I said before, is to have 3 new races as well as 3 vanilla races...
