Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

Things would be A LOT easier if people read the OP before they keep asking the same questions over and over and over and over and over.
There will be sometime, It will take some time because the 7ds v2.1 was like 2gb mod, so basicly a lot of stuff to convert and adding a whole bunch of new stuff. Also from what Danman said, he needs more people to work on it. I can't help because I do not know much on modding to be very useful on it.

Anyways, things are progressing nicely so far in 7DS land over in DANMAN GAMES. Minus any special abilities, all Atlantian ships are fully funtional. I still need to convert all the textures though. Also need to put in all the modules yet too, and all the Atlantian research that I made.
I am alo working on the Sa-Matra, the ancient battle platform for the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah. It will be their ultimate weapon, and Starbase of sorts. When brought into battle, it will be nearly unstoppable. It does have weaknesses though, so exploit them when you can.
The Ur-Quan Kzer-Za are also progressing nicely in the DANMAN SHIPYARDS, and so far 2 ships are fully complete, with a 3rd being done now. They are looking increadible.
The Colonial Fleet and Cylons need texture swapping and a few missing ships, but other than that they also work perfectly.
The DARK FLEET is undergoing a full refit, and will be getting all custom textures, so that they look less like the Vasari, and more of a cross breed between them and the Atlantians, which is who created the Vasari in the first place, which then turned against their creators when they became mind controlled, and turned their glorious fleets into the twisted ships they are now.
I am not going to make any promises, but I will try to have an ALPHA release to the testers by the end of the month, which is in a few days. Until then, see you next time....

Really, modding is not only about code or modelling... a good mod is the sum of numerous different talent...
About the Dark fleet, will you use my model or someone other is creating/working on new model... need to know since now, i have fully stop my work on the Dark fleet ( and pirate ) since you have give priority to the Halo faction for 7DS 2.5 ... have not enough hours in my days for work on several race in the same time...
By the way, i don't think that the halo race will be ready before the end of summer... texturing now the aegis fate ship, finish modeling the UNSC supercarrier ( titan ) but not yet texture, begin modelling work on the CSS, only a very basic high charity ( starbase ) model, and the covenant destroyer not yet begin...
My point is that we are too few for too much race/work... our newer recruit, xXx make a fast and good work on the Kohr-Ah but i don't think that all can finish all frigate/cruiser/structure before the end of the month !!! Myself, i cannot finish the work on the Halo part... and other members of the team will not have finish their work too...
I think that it will be more realist to say a conversion of 2.1 to entrenchment for the end of the month and the 2.5 for end summer... by the way, any people wishing to help us is welcome... read the post before these, you don't need to know coding or modeling... any type of talent is welcome... we are already a good team but 7DS have become so huge that we cannot follow for make everything... reward will be the glory to have your name listed in the start sequence of the biggest sins mod who have ever exist !!!
I have some time to help. I can do anything except modelling (I can write code fast as anybody, but I couldn't create a picture to get myself out of a paper bag). Just point me in the right direction...
I would love to help you guys. I dont have Entrenchment so that might be a problem, but Im sure you could find something for me to do. I can do some coding and other stuff and school gets out in 10 days so Ill have tons of free time.
I can help test, I am getting out this Friday. I have Entrenchment already so I should be fine and I am pretty sure my computer can handle it.

Sorry, did not know he lives in Belgium. Just making a somewhat of sarcastic comment on the part of correcting grammar/typos errors on mod/wiki if you are a pro at the English language. However I am not a pro either, I do poorly writing essays.

Boys, don't worry... my first language is French... second one is Dutch... only after come the english... following by some very basic Russian and German... add a very limited Spanish and German...
French was learn at school, all the rest was learn during my almost 10 years sailing around the world ( no school )... but the fact remain that 7DS content is created by a team who originate from a lot of country, that we are not perfect english speaking people, that we make mistake... We are not pissed by someone saying that we need to write "than" in place of "that"... it simply show that we need help of other people, that talent can be found at every level, that anybody can be needed for help us...
Check your PM box on our forum... with luck, you will have entrenchment for these week-end... but remember that we have resolve "your problem" so that in the future you will help to resolve the problem of our mod by testing it ( once 7DS 2.5 beta is out by being beta tester )... enjoy...
Will be good when you receive entrenchment for free that you persuade one or more friend that sins is really a top game when related to space strategy... making some publicity for sins can only become beneficial for us in the long term...
Thoumsin, don't worry my friend, I will only be putting out a VERY BASIC version, just to get the masses testing. It will be NO WHERE near ready, so you have all the time you need. I appreciate all that you are doing, and thanks for helping out in here.
He is right too people, ANYONE can help. You don't need to know how to code in order to mod. Much of it involves 3D modeling, graphics, sound work, voice acting, coding, roleplaying, story writing, idea suggesting, playtesting, bug fixing, people managing, job managing, etc, and last but not least, monetary support.
So you can see, ANYONE can help. Anyone who is a fan can help. The talent is in you.

Dan, any thoughts on the Dynamic Battle System yet? it plays really nice and the Beta that is out is manifest friendly.

Ah yes, the Dynamic Battle System is already part of 7DS 2.5, so do not worry about that. And it is very sweet indeed. I was working on my own as soon as I got Entrenchment, so I can't wait to show you guys.

Hey, did you fix the Khor-Ah? When I say fix I mean that they were a little broken in 2.1, noting major but they still just didnt feel right. And do the icons for all the ships now have the correct picture for their corrosponding ship? Same with researchs?
No, not yet. They never have been "complete" per say. Icons and stuff takes time, and I haven't been sweating the small stuff that eats up LOADS of time.
Good news however, is that I now have ALL the Kohr-Ah ships fully functional. Just need to add the SA-MATRA for thier Starbase, and they should be good to go shipwise. Researches and icons still need to be sorted out.
MAJOR STRIDES happening now folks... Oh, and people, thank HARPO999 for his MANIFEST maker, it rocks, and is making this go WAY faster. So sing his praises if you see him online or in a post.

Hello, at first i want to thank to all people who did and do this mod. Sorry for my english i don´t speak english well. I have a problem with 7 DS. I have a 1.05 version of game and a downloaded 2.1 version of mod. In option i enable this mod and then start play lux aeterna and in main menu is write 7 deadly sins 2.0. So a start a new game and when screen is loaded at full then game shutdown. i try almost everything in settings(active/inactive pirates, only 7 DS official maps, diffrent nations, etc.) I have a 32 bit vista. Can you help me somebody (or anybody? i dont know:)? Thanks very much.
how much RAM do you have? 7DS uses 2 gigabites, and i you dont have that much then major problems can happen.
