Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

No its not, and the website url is confusing. The description of the mod should be very clear and the first thing that an interested player sees. I still can't find it on the website, and I don't feel like digging around the forums of the official site.
Don't you want players to see a detailed feature list right away? That is always the first thing I look for when browsing for mods. In fact, it usually is the very first thing posted. Often it is on the first page of the official site for a mod.
Just my 2 cents.

Just noticed on the previous page a few other posters expressed their excitement (drooled) over the feature list. This is the kind of reaction you want the moment someone looks up your mod for the first time. Don't make it a hassle to figure out what kind of featurs your mod has. I can't even find the full feature list you posted at your official website/forums. It has to be pieced together from several sources.
oh, and most of the links in the OP don't work or lead somewhere other than where the link says it will go.
Last I knew, editing the OP is a pain in the toochus. But dan, you should see about getting what you just posted on the original post. Also, your link to the sri-corp site still uses the html to the stealthblade site.

Frosty, once you enable the mod you can click a box so that the mod loads on startup -thus no need to reload the mod every time you want to play.
I don't like the idea of someone modding our mod, but people are certainly free to edit/slash/rape our hard work into a version that suits them at the expense of ever being able to play in a MP game with anyone else since the checksums won't match up once you start changing things.The only thing we insist upon is that you never release a modded "7DS 2.0" as your own work. If you wish to include aspects of 7DS in a mod of your own design, contact Danman for permission first.
If researching is such an issue, play in Dev.exe so you can spawn whatever you like. There is a BlackHole Planet and Star, one that kills, one that is just there like a regular star. There are no white holes in 7DS 2.0. If you'd like to design one and submit to Danman for 7DS 2.5 or 3.0, you are welcome to and would be greeted warmly.
About white holes: Technically, there is no proof that a white hole exists or has existed in the universe. Einstein's Theory of Relativity (at least I think it was relativity, might have been special relativity) says that one is theorectically possible, but no one has ever found any proof. Plus, a white hole would probably be incredibly unstable, and given the amount of matter they expel, they would quickly collapse into a black hole.
But who's to say that your empire wouldn't happen on one during it's cycle as a white hole, and it happens to last through the conflict? Or some such?I like the idea, at any rate. Just because it's not fully established in science doesn't mean we shouldn't use it, eh?
You can use these forum, so you will be able to use our forum...
By overwrite, do you mean overwrite the vanilla files ? Don't think that it will work correctly... same if it work, sins will need more time for check and load the numerous file...
If you have ship turning fully in one color, try to turn of the option "show team color"... but if for 1.3d, you have overwrite the sins 1.05 file, it is very possible that some texture don't load... a mod need to be in the mod folder...
How long does the testing go for ?
Got a lan coming up this Saturday.... Was hoping to get the final 2.0 by then
ACtually testing is going quite well, with only a few changes I have to make. As soon as these are done, and tested, then the 2.0 will be ready.
I would say this weekend, but I don't want to make any promises that I have to break. I am famous for not meeting a deadline in this modding world, as Real Life always takes priority.
So, shall we say March 28th?

With a bit of help from google I was able to get to the actual site, but I'm still a bit confused as to what is actually part of 2.0 and whats still to be added in. Perhaps a new thread for 2.0 if the main title is so hard to edit? Or maybe a post with big bold, red letters followed by the readme of 2.0 in here so it's easy to spot?

About a new topic for 2.0, we have already start the discussion about it... 7DS have many voice... time is needed for reach a decision...
Normally, nothing will be added to the last pre-release... not the right time for this... simply tracking minor error, polishing the mod... The team try to give you something almost perfect ( since nobody is perfect, some mistake/error will surely found by player when released )... 7DS 2.0 is sins at 400%... it will be a huge mod... a pain inthe a$$ when related to the strategy... my last game was like Atlantian, the more powerfull race with the stronger ship... i was beaten by the Arilou who reproduce like rabbit... and what to say about these Rogue who stolen my fresh build ship and use them to attack me... you are "the Dark"... build civilian structure around your planet and not one bombardment ship will survive since all structure have defense weapons... The fun with 7DS is that all you know about sins strategy is good for the trashcan... you need to think again, rebuild some strategy for each new/modified race...

Well....I am legendary for saying SOON or THIS WEEKEND...and then you have to wait several more weeks for my "Real Life" to actually get out of my way so that I can make this mod happen...
