ok for the entrenchment people i am busy with finals and have to pass plus the internet at my school does not allow for large file uploads or emails so be patient and i will have one soon.
Hey guys, its been forever since ive checked up on this and i hate to do this but 50 pages is a lot to check. Can i get some updates on how the modding has been going as well as any problems your currently facing?
I think the last i heard was that frigates were done for the most part and you were working on cruisers/destroyer models.
Here's a list of what we hav done ship-wise (at least as far as i know)
UNSC
Frigate-done
Destroyer-done(but might be replaced by new model)
Marathon-done
Halcyon-done (as far as i know)
Phoenix-about 1/2 complete (model needs an update and its texture could use a re-vamp)
SMAC-done
Longswords-done
Mako-not done (hav a model though)
Covenant (havn't developed to them much)
Assault Carrier-done
CCS-about 1/2 (needs a texture)
We hav alot of other cool ship designs and ideas ligned up so check back every now and then.
I've made a dysfunctional frigate yard (some faces are missing ingame) that still lacks a texture and am about 50% done on a fairly good LRM frigate if that counts.
I thought the CCS had the texture...
And where is the Halcyon? I didn't see it in the alpha or any news posts.

I did, sorry. I got CCS and Assault Carrier mixed up. And I did just see the Halcyon. We really need a dedicated texturing member...
congrats your our new texture member... im just kidding but seriously people everyone we know what we need and we need people to stop telling us and start doing it. and ive gotten bogged down by work so i have to once again delay my post of 1.16 and entrenchment
Good news though! Since Dan has been bombarded with requests to have the UNSC in 7DS, he's going to have team members help us out.

Yeah, that's going to be a huge help, even if they just help us texture. BTW, I've pretty much finished the LRF model (needs a bridge). It's awesome.
Its quite sick, if I do say so myself.
Is there a rough date for this mod to be released? Just itching to play it

If the 7DS people come through for us, it'll surely be sped up. We might have a Beta out by the end of Summer break, but that's just a total shot in the dark.

BTW Fileosoft is re-doing the frigate and wow is it looking good! He's building it off the Halo 3 design so it has radar and turrents and all that.
It seems like kind of a wast to be re-making something we already have that looks fairly good. Still, I'm really appreciative of the help. I did know that we'd have to re-make it eventually, so I guess it's all for the best. The texture wasn't the greatest and there was some kind of bug where you could see through from one side.

That would be the problem was, It was a model corruption. Also, he cut the poly amount to a quater of what it was, now we can have 4x as much frigates at once without slowdown

Plus we actually have Point defense guns on this one. Before I just had to shrug off any hardcore fans that knew about them...
Wonder how they'll like the Mako. Just two more ships for Dan and I start work on it.
