Juggernaut, this basically is the Sins of the Prophets thread. CanadaMan hasn't made a new one since he doesn't have much eyecandy. Or have you not read the thread at all?

please for the sake of all who read this thread, a couple of things; one that is our mod for Sins, two blender is a pain in the butt (for me at least), please do not come in here and order us to do things when you are not part of the mod team, you can make requests, but don't order us
yeah thats why im still pushing to kill this thread and start the sins of the prophets one on this web site so we can avoid these kinds of posts and so we can post links to all other threads that we have.

Ok for one, I did try to read it all but after the first twenty pages it got a little annoying with all the random other stuff not about the mod, and plus I was really tired. I was not ordering you around, I was just voicing my opinion on the matter of 3d programs. I didn't even make the request you said was acceptable to switch over to Blender, I was just saying I liked it. No I can't do anything in XSI because I don't have it and I hear it's very expensive (not to mention I'm still just getting a handle on Blender). I can however do limited UV texturing in Photoshop.

XSI mod tools is FREE... myself, i don't like it and i cannot use it... so i use Wings3D ( FREE, fast, simple and little in size ) for modeling and UV... for texturing, i use Gimp ( FREE ) with a plug-in for make the nvidia dds texture ( FREE )...
Unless you learn to use XSI or find someone for import your file in XSI, add the null point ( weapons, abilities, particule effect , etc )... you will end like me... creating a bunch of useless models who will never be see in the game!!!

When I get that updated CCS from Thousim, I'm going to make a new thread. I actually have a good amount of content in there but I just want to wait for the CCS to be my flagship.
And I wold love some more modeling and texturing help juggarnaught.
Canada, don't wait after me... for now, i have stop all my modeling work for maybe two month or more ... working on memory optimization for vanilla sins and 7DS... you know that our 7DS mod eat and need a lot of ram... memory optimization is a top priority... and it is a huge work... all the vanilla/7DS texture and mesh file need to be modifed and tested... final result will be around 300mb lower ran use for sins and 200mb for 7DS... once this finish, similar work will need to be made for the 7DS 2.5 version for sins 1.15 ...
I will try to find some free time to create the model but delay can be very long... and to be honest, i am not having a lot of motivation for modeling now... from my 50 or more ship created, only one was see in game... for the rest, ofwell the mod is dead, ofwell the guy responsible for the mod is not able to harpoint it and use XSI, ofwell people order me model that they don't use... begin to be tired for work for nothing... in some time, i will not more able to work for anybody since everybody seem move to entrenchment... Expension that i will only be able to buy in a few years only...
So, again, don't wait for me... new texture and model for the CCS can be made later... can be made after the release of the mod too... now, you have a Halo project, not yet a mod... nothing is yet released... and maybe will never be...

I had expected delays on the CCS and I have already began moving again. I got in contact with juggarnaught about the buildings, and we can do more after that.
Don't take it wrong... from my 50+ models, the only one who was see in Sins what thank to you... the last model that i have made, the Arcadia, will certainly never be because the responsible for the mod seem not be able to hardpoint it and export it to .mesh ...
To be honest, these topic will be one year old in a few day... and not yet something relesead... can always release the code, having modele introduced in next version... take a look at the doylnick stargate mod... first release was only code... no new models... but the gameplay was great... now, he have several people who help or have propose to help him for the graphic part... and now, the mod evolve at light speed...
Need to understand me, more that 4 month work and not yet some result somewhere... Have give a few model to the Andromeda mod but the mod is dead... have made one model for your mod but the mod is not yet released... have made a model for a pirate mod but these don't know how to insert model in the game... have made 6 ship for the dark in the 7DS mod but they are not inside due to harcoded mesh limit... and the list go on... With time, my motivation for work gratis drop down... the last few month, i have use ALL my free time for these game, sleep very little, work hundred's of hours... buy a laptop so i was able to make model at any free time i have ( my mid day pause at work )... all this for no result...
Begin slowly to think about stop help other mod and begin make my own little mod alone... or maybbe fully stop modding and return to my professional 3D hobby...
Just read the last 3 pages of this thread and thought to myself...why not make 2 mutually supporting mods out of this? One adds the Covenant Seperatists to sins and the other is the total conversion that youve been working on. If you already have a bunch of working UNSC and covenant ship models it wouldnt be too hard add it as a 4th faction since the human-seperatist alliance would consist of a mix of UNSC and Covenant weapons and ships. If you have enough ship models you could use some TEC buildings as placeholders and get the whole thing up and running in a day. That way people get to blow stuff up with a fleet of Halo ships while you work on the bigger, better conversion. Since I have a load of free time this week i wouldnt mind doing it myself if you guys are busy and or dont feel like spending 15 hours in notepad. Send me a PM if ur interested.

You're probably right, about just releasing the code and all, but I just feel the need to release it when its done and not until then. I'll definitely give it some thought though.
I read about half of the current Halo books. Tell me when the mod is done I would love to Beta Test.
BTW the Nova bomb can be the Human Super Weapon that you have to upgrade to get.

Yes, the mod will be for Vanilla Sins. Despite the benefits of Entrenchment, this is better because more people will be able to use it (including me) adn we don't have to make as many models .
Will it be for 1.15, 1.16 or 1.05.
