I thought you were talking about making SotP Entrenchment-only. That would be bad. A personal mod I have no problem with though.

either way there are some new functions that we can and should look at for the mod as a double release, like we can release one on entrenchment and one on regular so that way both groups can have it. just because we release it for entrenchment doesnt mean we have to utilize everything on entrenchment. that and i actually like killing the the vanilla players with firey mac rounds of doom

It can't be for Entrenchment. That would ruin CanadaMan's plans to have SotP integrated into 7DS.
I'm sure they will be porting it over. Somehow I really doubt they wont be taking advantage of the expansions.
if i can find out how to convert the ships to entrenchment then when the time comes i will ask canada for permision to release it as a separate version of the mod.
i support the idea of entrenchment! go dinoff,we should not be left out of the fun beause not all are able to play it,just make it for regular and expansion and we will all be happy
You can still play halo if it is only released for 1.15 if you have entrenchment installed by opening impules and playing the original sins. There are also 2 mod folders in the sins directorey as well.
i know but its a matter of preference and choice.
Well I don't have entrenchment but eventually the halo mod will be everywhere: Vanilla, 7DS, and entrenchment.
I dont wish to be the one who throws the spanner of pesemism into the works but I wouldnt really bother with a halo mod to be honest.
With the success of the halo series and already one spin off I reckon it'll only be a matter of time till thers space RTS or something like that, I mean theres a ton of material for them to drw off in just the nvels alone so I'll be in fatal shock if it doesnt turn out to be inevitable
except we are following their materials usage rules and regs and we are not trying to make money this has been discussed so many times dude

I have a suggestion for the Spirit of Fire ship.
According to some of the black box data in Halo Wars, the Spirit of Fir was originally a cruise ship of some sort before it was refitted by the UNSC as a warship. In Halo Wars, ships are sent down from orbit to construct bases from which units are then deployed.
Now, I don't know what your plans are for this particular ship, but I would suggest making it one of the most expensive ships for the UNSC, and giving it a wide mix of abilities, the foremost being the Colonize ability. I would also give it a reasonable squadron of strike craft (perhaps not as many as a full-fledged carrier), and possibly the passive Targetting Uplink ability. Gaus Railgun could serve as a quad firing of MAC Rounds, with appropriate attack power. Also, perhaps its ultimate could be Finest Hour to augment its attacking abilities as a last resort, as its only real active abilitiy (as far as combat) would be the Gauss Railgun.
As for basic ship weaponry, I'd outfit it with a combination of missle pods and ship-mounted guns, perhaps based off of the Kol's side guns.
Abilities(in recap) could/would be...
Colonize / Targetting Uplink / Gauss Railgun / Finest Hour (Or whatever UNSC names you wish to give to these)
Anyway, that's my two cents on the ship, and I'm really looking forward to a playable version of this mod sometime in the future.
Omg, why would there be no vasari?!?!? Vasari are in halo, I seen them in Halo 2 and Halo 3, and in Halo wars too!!! They have to be in there!!

As in the vasari base is mobile, as in high charity could be based off the mobile base so that high charity could move. Does this make more sense to you now? Even if it doesn't I really don't care. Have a nice day.
thank you for clarifying that. i never play as the visari and i did not mean for this to turn into a fued. ill have to check out the visari starbase then i really havent had time. thank you for pointing that out though otherwise i would have never thought to check there.
