I will have something out today of our modified SinsPlusmod. Just testing it now.

Here is the update to our SinsPlus mod. This is for Entrenchment Version 1.05.

I downloaded the file and attempted to extract it, but got only a series of errors saying numerous files were corrupted.
And what about diplomacy, this is the worst thing about Diplomacy, it comes out at a time, when all the good mods have either just been released, or are finishing production. And that means zero to no "really" good Diplomacy mods for a while now.
I'll DL the file and see if I get the same error.

It seems that this one is good and didn't create any errors.

I plan to convert it to Diplomacy as soon as the final release is out sometime next week. It will take a little time to get it converted over, but I'll have it done for sure.
I can't wait, I played this for Entrenchment, was great
I'm mainly looking for all of the ability, planet type and planet bonus files that would be in the 'GameInfo' folder. Me and my bro would always edit it a bit and buff some worthless abilities and nerf a few OP ones and take out all the really harsh bad planet bonuses and what not.
dashotosho, there is my text bin gui which is hidden in my current modding utilities pack for sins1.19/entrenchment1.05/diplomacy 1.0 here, the utilities pack includes my mod updater that updates entity files to work with the current version from previous versions, my manifest maker, my map updater and even my old galaxy manifest maker for those still playing sins 1.15/entrenchment 1.01 so that they can add all their maps to the galaxy.manifest so they can use their maps in entrenchment 1.01.
harpo
Thanks Harpo... it doesn't seem to be working for the edited version of sins plus that I have though. The game locks up every time I try to enable the mod.
Part of the issue may very well be I don't know what I'm doing but.. I used your mod updater exe and updated the old edited mod I had.
the mod is probably for an earlier version of sins/entrenchment. try the link that arron posted
I was under the impression that's what the tool was for, updating older versions of mods to work with the latest patch.
Nevermind I was just trying to work it a different way, I'll use the text converter and re-write hours of text.
dashotsho the mod updater IS for the updating of mods, but the mod to be updated NEEDS to be in the mods folder for the version it is FOR, and ONLY updates the entity files to work with the latest version.
Yeah I ran the updater and selected the version 1.02 folder with the mod in it for the source and the 1.05 folder for the finished product and the updater worked just fine but once I try to load the updated mod in the game it locks up.
it could be the 5 fx files in the pipelineEffects folder in the mod. i am currently testing an idea I had regarding an alternate version of the files. i will post when I have finished testing the idea
Here is our SinsPlus Bailknights mod for Dimplomacy. Feel free to give it a spin. We may do some balancing with the pirates eventually, but feel free to add your own changes.

In the readme it shows where you can up the percentage of planetery bonuses from 40% to 70% but when I follow the path givin I can't find the "galaxy" folder?
Any ideas? Would be nice to up the bonuses.
If they are regular game maps, they will be in the stardock game folder in the program files folder. I suggest that you copy them over in the Galaxy folder where the mod folders are kept to edit them.
Does it have to be a pre made map?
I usually play the "huge random" maps is there anyway to edit that one?
See I can't even find the maps themselves.....this stuff always frustrates me lol.
hegemon76 the map designer maps ARE in the MapDesigner folder in your user space
assuming you have sins 1.19/entrenchment 1.05/diplomacy 1.0, the galaxy forge maps NEED to be placed here for xpC:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\MapDesigneror here for vista/windows 7C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\MapDesigner
and to change the artifact density it is line 9
planetArtifactDensity 0.150000
just change the number as a percentage this is 15%.
the ironclad sourced huge random is in the program files galaxy folder.
Humm see I open the Galaxy folder and nothing is there.....I can't figure out why
