The European Alliance once again proved that it is a dangerous force in the Metaverse. The huge empire, now consisting of 127 overlords, launched an offensive against the Mid-Western Confederation and slipped past the farmers for third place overall. While the factions in the United States were celebrating Thanksgiving, many overlords decided now would be a good time to strike. Upon returning to the Metaverse after large meals of turkey and dressing, the Mid-Westerners were shocked to see their decline. The Euros should not let their guard down, however. The MWC farmers have a notorious history of surging back and halting any advances by other empires. If the MWC can regroup, they are likely to launch many AMMs and once again occupy third place.

The Fellowship of the Ring empire has grown mysteriously silent over the past week. The Metaverse Review has learned that the Fellowship Council is taking a small break and are vacationing on a small island paradise sipping margaritas and surrounded by beautiful women. Councilmember Theoden of Rohan strongly denies the allegations, claiming they are drinking Captain Morgan spiced rum, not margaritas. When asked for further comment, Theoden responded "The Fellowship is still very strong and just needs a breather. Along with the rigors of running the number one empire in the Metaverse, the Council has many responsiblities which demand our attention. Rest assured that we will return with new vigor in due time."

Frogboy the Creator, the great and powerful, has released his plans for the future of the Metaverse in his latest declaration. He alludes to changes in the Metaverse and the future of Galactic Civilizations. This is a must-read for all citizens of the Metaverse and outlines what is to come.

Realms Beyond, the empire which prides itself on a purist approach to gaming, now finds itself in tenth place overall. This empire of gamers who appreciate the many facets of a game, not just the highest scoring strategy, are gaining members and impressing many. Though they claim to not be interested in their ranking in the Metaverse, their rise has the attention of many empires, including the ANZAC Imperium, which is Realms Beyond's next target. Reports from ANZAC Imperium space indicate that Emperor Evil Steve has proclaimed "We iz gettin ready!"
