Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.
The mod will be built in 2 halves. The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment. The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.
there are no supergates. We might be adding them in, but as it stands there is no need for them

Hey do the pirates have some sort of time dilation device? Because whenever i fight them everyone just stops in the battle...i don't mind actually think its cool i just wanna make sure it's spose to happen!

I'm thinking seems as its asgard tech there are some evil asgard mixed in the pirate raid...only makes sense that they would stall time have a little think though strategies etc lol
yes the evil asgard do atm have time dialation , but in future versions may or may not.

I like it, bit weird the first time but once you get used to it its good! Ummm have noticed that after the first mission i complete the other teams don't offer me any more...atm i've got a ceasefire with everyone while they're kickin the crap outta each other!
This mod is nice but the humen are weak. i sent 15 ships to take a planet only 5 wraith ships were there and they tore me up. i must say it only took 10 seconds to lose lol.

While I would tend to agree with EnternalRequiem, I do appreciate feedback(I'm doing the majority of balance work) and would like to know more details. Specifying if this was early game, late game, what ships were involved, and what tech you had(specifically, if you had asgard beam weapons) would all be very useful.
I was just playing a huge one, each on hardest. 4 Humans, 3 Asuran and 3 Wraith. 1 Asuran went out first followed by all the humans! Just had a mini dump now though My first one...i'm no longer a mini dump virgin!
i find the set up is pretty good atm humans weak start strong finish warth med start and even through out the game ancients i find are the strongest and remain the strongest the only way i found to be able to kill them is with the dedalus nuke skill due to its massive damage which i have to micro manage 1 2 3 4 5 6 in order to take out caps lol and lets not talk about a lvl 6+ atlantis which i advise you to just RUN very fast away lol

I had 10 promethes ships 5 tempest and 1 destiny cap ship cant speel sorry and it was early i just started and went to a planet all ships die in 10 secs really fast, i say the 302's killed 2 ships by them self there you go for details but ill try again just to get some time in to tell more for your mod.

Seriously, the prometeus and the tempest are only good in large numbers(really large numbers) and thats only if you have done some serious research (hmmm, maybe the prometeus wont be), I would recomend you research the dedalus hard and only engage wraith hive ships if you have them heavily outnumbered, the siren ability is OP in my opinion.
i thought 15 on 5 was good numbers lol guess 100 will be better for the odds

This post is pretty much spot on. Try to learn the supply of each ship so you can approximate how much supply each side has before you engage. If you're the Tauri and it's early in the game then you will need significantly more supply worth of ships to beat the Wraith or Asurans in direct battle. Another thing to note is that frigates are generally much lower in supply than the cruisers of the same race. But frigates are also more cost efficient. So while it might take 3 Prometheus to equal the supply of a Daedalus, it also cost less than a Daedalus.
Something I think should be done is add new/better abilities for the Tempest and Prometheus that you research later in the game. Because really they are the most cost effective ships the Tauri have, but they don't have the survivability or power to take advantage of it.
I do agree we can easily add some late to mid game abilties/ upgrades, at this point i am fine with all out refrits.
What address do i send the dev reports to? Also i don't know if anyone else is getting the mini dump problem?
