Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.
The mod will be built in 2 halves. The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment. The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.
Ok to clear some things up Atlantis is ingame and working as we speak. My god she is pretty. I have some screenies i will post later today of the mod for all to enjoy. You will see alot of ships that arent included in the mini mod. ETA sorry no date as of yet. But the basic coding for the mod is now done we need a full time texture artist. BADLY. So if anyone knows someone that is a Stargate junkie and can texture. Please get in contact with someone on the team. Also the asurans will only have asuran ships, human only human ships, and wraith only wraith ships. Unless of course you find some of the many hidden items ingame. Hint hint. But Atlantis will be a cap for the asurans. The tauri will not have her. Sorry guys
I've very very very loosely estimated that it will take aproximately 2 years, give or take a few months - probably take, until you're completed considering that you started 2 years 4 months ago and have gained a team. Very loosely. Very loosely indeed.

Will the Atlantis city ship be appearing in the sample mod for the Asurans ?????? Just wondering because that will most likely build or rebuild the faith of this mod coming out soon.
lol Funny thats assuming we even release any further standalone mini mods for release. Making the one we have was not fun nor easy to rip a mod apart and tear out a race and not get dumps. The complete mod doesnt have half the issues as the standalone mini mod. Never the less I have some screenies of atlantis ingame. enjoy

Does the Ancient Ruins planet type replace one of the other types? I've been trying to place some in GalaxyForge.
Only way I've been able to have that planet type so far is with "WeightedColonizable". Though that leaves a 1/11 chance of getting it.
No it is a completly new planet type. Please refer to the galaxy scenario file for reference.
I had my go at producing a stargate hyperspace effect, didn't know where else to post it and I wondered if you liked it...
I probably won't receive a straight answer; however, I just wanted to ask (perhaps for the sake of posterity as well as to satisfy my own curiosity) will the ZPM Hive Ship be making an appearance as a late game super capital for the Wraith in the full release? I set out to look for an answer to this question, and ironically the first random page number I typed in (36) had the answer right at the beginning of the comments.
Another quick question is: will Wraith units have stronger armour in the full release, as opposed to the relatively low armour allocation as seen in the mini-mod?
I got a few questions about Atlantis...
Will it shoot drones?
Will it be able to allow ships such as the 304's to dock while repairing their shields or something like that?
Will the shields continue to look so choppy, or will it become more rounded like in the show?
Will it have ZPM ability as well, but more balanced for an actual city, since it could lift off planets, do shields, cloak, and other stuff it did in the show?
And will it be able to have 3 ZPMs or meaning like make the ZPM ability stack or have 3 diff abilities that activate at the same time, but it strengthens shield, stronger weps, and stuff like that?
I am asking this about the more finished model tho, because I understand this is the old version of it.
Yes she is planned Already . Armor for the Wraith will be much higher and better than the other races. Tauri and Asuran Armors will be perportional to there respective shield rates and balanced as such.
Yes she does shoot drones. as well as ancient lasers.
No , She has fighters, Bombers that is all. But Abilties are a diff story. The shields are just a first attempt and have planned a more surreal shield for her. To be honest Riser made that in all of 30 seconds.
Her abilities are not finalized all i will say is atm she has colonize.

Don't think anyone answered so gonna ask again. What does the Search for ZPM and Ancient Database researches do exactly?
Search for z pm upgrades unlocks a ability, Ancient Database research accelarates the research rate for the Tauri or is supposed to, corrected that issue in sgi mod! mini mod will need corrected as well. Also fyi to all reverted back to vanilla sins sizes for planets and slightly larger gravity wells.

Does it unlock the Nuke teleporting ability for the Daedalus... haven't found what unlocks that yet
what unlocks the mark 9 is, by spending 1 point in the oneil class missels. its the upg for missels that adds range.
what i have noticed is that there is an asteroid that has 7k hull points and 8k shields... you can capture it with the fenir but it dosent do anything lol
That still doesn't answer my question for permission, and I can't add anything nor modify, since I don't have a BIN to TXT converter...
