Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.
The mod will be built in 2 halves. The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment. The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.
No rush .
I wonder though could anyone set me in the right direction with regards to using the BC304 and the SG Galaxy mod together.
I've downloaded SanitySlayer's version and have no idea what to add or remove from the manifest files to get them working together.
Any tips are appreciated.
Well to actualy combine them would be easyer so that all the new abiltys mesh and texures where in the same mod then add the data for them into the SG galaxy manifest so that they can run together but as one mod thats the way i would do it anyway

Couldn't you just combine the mods by putting them into the same folder, then use Harpos manifest maker tool to create a manifest from the new combined mod. What's this SG Galaxy mod anyway? whats it do?
btw, i've just uploaded my latest version of the minimod modification onto my profile on Moddb, although it is awaiting authorisation
Yes, if you created a combined manifest it could work. The bigger issue would be how and where you integrate the ship into SGGalaxy I think. Which faction gets it and how do they access it? You'd have to do some editing of at least one player.entity, the string file and possibly a tech tree as well. Having said that, there is no technical reason why you couldn't integrate it into a copy of SGGalaxy if you wanted to dig into the guts of the mods and do it. I'm pretty positive that you can't just stack the mods though and expect it to work.

I got it going. It was easier than I expected.
The strings came up missing for me as well but all I had to do was open up the BC304 string file, find the ones that were missing (e.g. ability names, descriptions and ship description) then adding them to the sg Galaxy string file. Works a treat.
EDIT: SanitySlayer's version makes the 304 a capital ship for the TEC and it fits in quite well.
I've just been playing a TEC vs wraith game and like in the show, just one 304 has a challenging time dealing with a hive ship (although things are made easier with Asgard Beams).
It makes sense to give it to the TEC though since they are essentially the SINS version of humanity.
There's nothing for it in the research tree since its available from the start, but I imagine that when the humans of Stargate get to mining asteroids and colonising planets, the 304 would already be a common vessel.
So far, I've had no minidumps with the combination of the two mods (Y).

i have a question:
i currently use SanitySlayer's BC304 Mod (as a Capitalship) and noticed that the ship has fighter style movement.
How will the ships move in the finished mod? Will they have fighter style movement?
yes, the mod will be using fighter style movement, all but a few ships will be equiped with it.
I don't know if anyone has asked you this, will the weapon that the humans used on the replicator planet in the final episode of season 3 called ,don't quote me on this, the Eclipse (the super cluster nuke) be in the game. It really didn't work in the show however its one heck of a planetary siege weapon.
You are refering to the Horizon Weapon, and yes it will be in the mod.

Im new to useing the forums. i have be watching this mod for a long time. and i got a question.
Will the ships the Ancents/Aursans use, have shields contoured around the hulls?
yes. All ships that have shields will have shields that reflect what is seen in the show
This has probably been asked before, but do you ever plan on adding the Ori at any point in the future, either as playable or pirates?
^No. Eomega has previously made it clear that he pretty much hates everything about the Ori and won't be adding them to the mod.

this mod is moving very slowly..
I don't want to sound to rude like yourself but there has only been 2 of us for the last 9 months and really 1 person before that for a year. So if you or anyone else wants to jump in (in the all the spare time you must have) and wants to help then great.

kinda sry riser but he´s a little right. i am now watching this mod for nearly a year and i kinda see a progress that is even not as big as other mods got in 1-2 months.
dont get me wrong, u are doing this with only 2 of u, but still it is very frustrating to watch the (in my opinion) best mod for sins growing sooo slowly. i quit playing sins a long time ago and the only reason i watch this forum is because of this great mod, but i got the feeling it wont be released and sooner or later u guys will give it up because it goes so slowly on. ofcourse i know u do this as a hobby or so and have no commitment to get this mod done but still i think when u announce a mod and have so many people watching the progress and waiting for it u should get it released earlier than 1 year ++ and letting people wait and wait for nothing :/

GTFO. They are doing this as fast as they can. If you want it done faster learn to mod and help them out. If you cant do that then don't complain they aren't moving fast enough for your liking.
You can't rush perfection... so stop bugging them.
It's not like they can say, "Hmm....I think I want to make an epic Stargate mod." 10 seconds later: "Hey look, it's done!" (Though I admit that would be pretty cool )
