Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.
The mod will be built in 2 halves. The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment. The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.
@eomega what do u mean with "so you will all get to play with her"?u gonna upload a "minimod" with just this ship to test it or how can i understand this?

Oh, great to see some Ancient ships getting worked on... mostly because it means the mod is getting ever closer to being played by us all! Awesome work as always everyone, keep it up.

this is awesome.....but how do i instal it?
there are instructions in the zip file, you need to have some modding experience to get it to work. For instance, say you want it to replace the Kodiak, simply download the Forge tools, copy Frigate_TechHeavy open it up and change the mesh to that of the Daedalus, change the weapons and you are good to go.

how do i get forge tool to work?
I was able to get the 304 into the game but the color is blue , is that the way its supposed to be? just curious if i messed it up

now that u mention it i was blue duh but that was the only ship that was blue any thoughts?
btw a side light thought. what do we have to do to get a freakin stargate digicon on the forums??
im in the same boat there harpo the textures wont load up for me mesh is in game though
I did some scouting in the dds files it seems(Clearly in my opinion) that the files dont have the right name therefore, dont attach. Its says something like b c 3 0 4 - nm same for the other dds files. Eomega plz fix this i love the ship but would love to see the textures. Great work on the ship!

I dont know i renamed all files to the ship i modded for the 304 and still the mesh loads textures dont! I am lost any one else ideas?
sorry everyone, I was using a Previous Build of the mesh, and didnt realize what textures were linked to it. I am uploading the fixed pack now, and it should be available in a couple hours on the same link.
EDIT: the mesh is now set up to overwrite the Kodiak, but you will still need to do some modifications to the Entity files to get it to fire the correct weapons. To do this, incase you didnt know, you will need the Forget tools Reference data.
Is this for the normal Sins or for Entrenchment?
If it's for Entrenchment, I'm wondering if it's too much trouble to try and change it for normal. I won't get Entrentchment till the end of summer (school and studies and all.)
The mod is for entrenchment, but the BC-304 minimod supposedly will work with normal sins. Ill try it and get back on that. But the mod itself is going to be for entrenchment. Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear. By the way the BC-304 is awesome! I cant wait for the mod, and great job! Thanks again for the 304!

Eomega i hate asking this cause i feel stupid saying this is there anyway for me to make the ship bigger ?

What do you mean by bigger? Its still set to the scale of SGI, didnt realize it needed to be bigger, anyone else feel this way?
Will to me its a bit small i think but its just me i dont know who everyone else feels about it.........
I think its just a tad on the small side, i tried increasing the size in the entity file but that didnt work .
I think the reason it seems small is because of the fact that we havent touched the rest of the mod yet. Wathing the videos released about the mod the ship size looks perfect! So i don't think it needs to be changed cause if we make it bigger then when the mod comes out the 304 will appear to be out of proportion with the rest of the ships. But thats just my oppinion.
ah just an idea is iv myself have never really been into the 2000 ships per side type fights mostly because in space i dont think its relistic so even in the stargate series you never really see 100s of 1000s ships fighting it out but more like 12 v 12 20 v 20 sorta thing how do you and others feel about raisen the slot counts of the ships to have a more relistic feel knowing that hey if i lose the this ship 1 it will cost alot to build another and i only got 1 or 2 of these in my squad ??

something very close to your ideas have been discussed, and I believe we have somewhat come up with this as the way things are going to be, each race differing of coarse.
On another note, I am going on vacation starting tomorrow, wont be back online for atleast 10 days Im assuming, so please hold tight, I will try and bring my laptop with me so I can work on the mod little by little. See you when I get back.
