Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.
The mod will be built in 2 halves. The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment. The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.
yeah, I get that...I never have more then dabbled in making mods for games that never really turned out, mostly moded a mod to be what I want...but when the mod is finished I would like to see if the modles could work with a diff game engine...Im really thinking it wont just cause Im never lucky but the guys who I would hope would work on the mod are great about crediting

A small question about the drones:
According to the screenshots, they go in straight lines. This doesn't really give the "Swarm" effect, though. Is it possible perhaps to make them circle their target like the missiles of the Marza?
Hey Eomega, I know your very busy at the moment and I really don't want to bother u but, well could u( if time presents itself) help me get those models I made into sins. Im currently not able to get xsi mod tool to work, therefore I can't put texture or anything else that is for the ship thus, when I put the ship in game it doesn't appear. Now im asking u because I find your the best at this modeling, texturing and, coding stuff. So if u can, contact me about this at xboxfreak1993@hotmail.com I would appreciate it. Great work on the mod keep up the good stuff im really looking forword to this mod.

We have music and sounds from the show. We are also doing a closed beta session at the moment, but might incorporate some dedicated beta testers later on.
The Drones do loop around and circle their targets, it just doesnt fully show it in the screens. Tomorrow night I plan on making a video for the Humans, and I will be sure to include a battle of a couple of ships versus Atlantis to show off the drones.

UPDATE: Im posting this update in green, as it is the color of the newest weapon that will be researched for the Humans. While doing research on Excalibur, I found that she has several features that i did not know about before, such as a fighter deck, 20 heavy railguns, a great deal of light railguns, 58 missile tubes, 4 asgard plasma pulse turrets, and 2 Atlantean Based beam weapons. Now with that said, the newest weapon I have created for the Excalibur is the Lagrangia Based Weapons Systems. Here is a couple of shots of that. The first was just a test to see if I could get it to work, and the second is with the weapons in their correct position.
On another note, here are two shots of a battle with Atlantis before the Upgrade.

Can you give me an "image in words" of how powerful the Wraith Hive ship will be? Because what i saw in the clips, they did'nt kill anyone, they just died -.-
The mod has yet to be balanced, so that is why it doesnt look like they killed anyone, but they did, i can tell you that as a fact. Hives will cause lots of damage before being destroyed, if they are fiighting the right kind of ships, so with that said, balancing still needs to be done, and we will get to this once everything is ingame.
People of the forum. I have noticed that the poll shows that you seem to wan't atlantis to travel'flatways' and I must beseech you to avoid making a mistake in this desicion. In every instance that we have seen, the Atlantis has moved 'on its side' and all evidence points to the atlantis being a 'tail-lander'.
I must ask you who have not voted, vote for 'on its side' so that the cannon will be held for this mod and so this project is that much better. I ask you to hold to what vision the owners of the IP have for the atlantis, and that we give the city ship its due respect as such.
@Eomega: I don't know if Dolynick has asked you, but I think it would be realy awesome of you if you could help out his attempts at his mod (lend models and such). I can understand any fears you might have of him not giving proper credit for them, but I have a feeling that those fears are for naught.
I think the beams on Excalibur look really nice. Vasari got som green plasmas but not cool beams like this. Keep it up! Try to make the attacks and effects less like the original game.
I have spoken with Dolynick, and he has not asked about my models. To be honest, and if I remember correctly, he agrees that it would take away from my mod if I were to start handing out models to everyone who asks. He does have permission to use the models once my mod is released, with proper credit of coarse.
Alright, I didn't know if you guys had done any talking or not. I really like both mods, and hope to see them both at the best quality they can be.
Update on Atlantis. After working on the shield for a few days, Derbal was able to figure out a way to get it working, even make it go down when the shields actually do. Here is a screenshot of the first shield, I need to completely rework the texture.
oh i have a very big question that im not sure if its even able to be done. i would love to see this mod a little more relistic to others that where you blow up a ship and ur to close to it that you may suffer a small amount of damage from the dead ship's explosion just a thought that i would love to see.
Also with entren beta out mabey some of the acients ships will have the cloke ability where say jumpbers atlantis may be able to but costs decent antimatter as well as can be detected either by scouts or a research ability to radars

But it would take up an ability slot, so anything that doesn't have ability slots available won't be dealing on-death damage. But, hopefully, all ships will be dealing damage on death.
And I don't know how the cloak in Entrenchment works, but if it's the same as regular SINS, it's just not feasible for canon.

Exellent ideas! It would be REALLY awesome if everyone near the destroyed ship took some damage! You maybe want to add effects like a pressurewave coming from the exploded ship to make it more believable
Im not sure if all the ships can cloa? is it cannon if they can? for the Ancients I mean...

any way we can have better ancient ruins? They way they are set up kinda sucks...I have only found 1 or 2 types but I really hope you can put something els in there for discoveries and have it NOT show up for everyone to know you found them...that would be nice too
