Sins of a Solar Empire: INVASION is an addon project aiming to expand upon the existing universe of the Sins of a Solar Empire, providing original and high-quality content on top of the original game. Aside from the new content, the addon will also include multiplayer-friendly gameplay changes as well as reworked or new visuals/sounds.

Yeah, Sculptris is awesome, and it's free (at least for now). I find it much better than sculpting in ZBrush, you work faster and there is much less hassle. And you can always switch directly to ZBrush and back for those special tools which Sculptris lacks, like punching holes in your models or hard surface sculpting.
Although if you want to retopo, you need to do it by hand in another tool, like ZBrush, or any 3D package (there are many techniques). Personally I use a great tool called 3D Coat, which has a pretty robust automatic retopology feature, then just fix the trouble areas on the mesh in Softimage. That way I can have a game ready model which would normally take a few days of work in an hour or so. Very efficient workflow.

Just wondering ManSh00ter, and you may have already addressed this question, so do forgive me, but how do you plan on integrating this mod into Rebellion (or do you at all)? How will you be able to synchronize with the system-wide graphical and engine improvements in Rebellion?

I am already studying Rebellion and how it works, and I think the Xin could be incorporated rather nicely in the whole dual faction system - they already have two kinds of Titans and I could easily make two distinct factions within the Xin Hierarchy.
The only problem could be memory requirements, but for that I need the official release. Before Rebellion is released I will not begin porting the Xin in earnest since the unit stats and abilities are probably not final. In the meantime, the development continues for Diplomacy.
But I definitely intend to have a go at Rebellion too.

I hope not, but who can tell with a rebellion in progress as rebels usually shoot anything that moves in their area.
I think he might not realize this is a highly anticipated mod and the positive comments and otherwise complete lack of criticism or any negative comments regarding it should show that.
Even if he is Rebellion challenged or just not wanting to go there, I KNOW for a fact several modders would update it for him just if he simply asked.
Let us know ManSh00ter...we'll pitch in whatever we can.
