Sins of a Solar Empire: INVASION is an addon project aiming to expand upon the existing universe of the Sins of a Solar Empire, providing original and high-quality content on top of the original game. Aside from the new content, the addon will also include multiplayer-friendly gameplay changes as well as reworked or new visuals/sounds.

This is probably the most anticipated mod ever to be built. I totaly look forward to playin it. Great work so far and keep up the good work. Hope to see this come out soon, I've been watching this mod since nearly the begining.

Man, you guys have got to learn some patience. Go check out www.infinity-universe.com if you want to consider 'wait times' for a project. It's at over seven years but the community is still going strong with development. Now, that does not mean I expect ManSh00ter to take several years but it's already been over one, comming up on two if I'm correct. Relax.
Coming out of my no-post closet for the first time to make a comment and a request. First off, job well done, very well done indeed. This mod looks fantastic, and the sheer genius in creating a mod that instead of focusing on balancing the new faction’s units focuses on their differences is unique as far as I’ve seen. Once again, job well done. Secondly, you’ve said that you are making this mode in three parts, and from the lore it seems the vanilla factions are going to have to slug it out alone for a little while. Do you think that maybe you can slightly buff some of the vanilla traits in part 2? For example, take the Vasari and enhance their already superior speed and versatility, along with increased bypass ability for their phase missiles. The TEC could have increased armor and health along with improved resource collection, and the Advent could receive more bonuses for their shields and culture (military and economic bonuses, not upgrades to their culture potency). This could express the adaptation of the factions to the Xin invasion. I would imagine most of this could be made accessible through the tech. tree, so the factions still have to work to adapt.
This mod is awesome.

Oh, btw, I'll try to update the volumetric mod for the Diplomacy next week. I recently migrated to a new computer and have to reinstall Sins, move 12Gb of art, audio and resources... yeah. Don't worry, the actual download will be only a few hundred Mb.

Replying to boshimi, definitely this and Infinity are two things I've been eagerly anticipating for a long time now.
Just letting everyone know that the project is still alive and kicking. And a more detailed look at my assets make it closer to 30 Gb of stuff.

Its been a year and a half since he last said that is would be released Malanthor (Dec. 2008 btw) and it hasnt happened yet. My guess is that he also works for Blizzard
Yes he works for Blizzard and is a very busy guy, so cut him a break will ya. This is one of the most anticipated mods for sins out there it will be released when it's released just wait patiently
Aye this mod is indeed very anticipated and it looks awesome. Id still like to know if manshooter has any thoughts to when hell release the xin though.
