For us in Western Australia, high-school starts in year 8 and, luckily for me , my generation is the first that isnt allowed to drop out of yr 11 or 12, unless you have an appreticship or somthing.
Hey, college isn't always a picnic. I've got a five page paper to write, a compsci project, 100 pages of dry textbook to read, and an entire goddamn novel. It's the book periods forgot. The entire first page has a period. Just one. It's almost impenetrable. I have a fun sunday to look forward to. Oh well, at least both my five pagers weren't due on Friday like I thought they were.

Hey I started to paint one of my Space Marines according to the guide on the GW site (Blood Angels). They say to wash it in Dark Flesh, but Dark Flesh is a paint not a wash. Any ideas what to do?
get the new wash set, they are great! I think Devlan Mud or Ogryn flesh will suffice for what you want. If you dont want to do that, then heavily water down Dark flesh and wash them in that, although it wont produce very good results.

Hey all, I'm trying to summon up the willpower to do another round of balancing, but first I'd love it if you all could tell me anything I didn't implement so I can fix the easy stuff and get a good test in before I go back to models. If you can point out any blatant balance issues you notice while looking, that'd be great though. I just really want to get back to work and look through the balance again with turrets and all and see where the carrier balance is right now.
Is there anyway we can make the MOD compatible with the new sins update? The beta? I wanted to get back into testing it again, but the new version wont load it, it crashes
nope, isn't going to work, sorry. The beta of 1.1 doesn't support the mods folder, so I'd have to make a new mod from scratch, and it'd be terrible and a lot of work and probably not work and ruin your installation.
Oh ok then. Is there a way for me to have two versions of sins installed on my computer at one time? ie. Two separate games completly, one of them 1.1 and the other 1.0?
It's not easy, but if you install to the last non beta version, copy your entire directory elsewhere, then install the beta patch and copy that to another elsewhere and just paste which you want into the directory when you want to play, it should work just fine. I highly recommend once they release 1.1 that you uninstall and reinstall in impulse, though, rather than patching, which may suck because of your download cap (really, hasn't anybody thought of charging a bit more and taking the cap off? They'd probably get a lot of money and not need to provide much more bandwidth).
